The history section alone is worth the price—I had no idea pressure cooking went back that far. I've already tried five of the 150+ recipes and each one came out perfectly tender, and the hardcover binding lays flat on my counter which makes following along so much easier.

The recipe for classic pulled pork came out perfectly tender in just 35 minutes—I was genuinely surprised. The historical sections are a nice bonus, adding context to the techniques. I've already flagged about a dozen recipes to try next.

The hardcover binding is really sturdy, which matters when you're flipping through it mid-cooking. I've already learned a couple of new techniques from the history section that I hadn't seen anywhere else.
